Here's what I'm up to. Come check out these gorgeous concerts and workshops!
As the new principal cellist of the Reading Symphony Orchestra, I will be performing with them often! Next up: Cirque du Soliel! Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 7:30pm at the Santander Performing Arts Center in downtown Reading.
I am part of a fantastic cello ensemble called Tapestry. We play arrangements of famous pieces, less well-known ones, and my own arrangements and original compositions. We are playing two concerts this Sunday, April 14, 2019:
-3 pm at Buckingham’s Choice, 3200 Baker Circle, Adamstown MD
-7pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2911 Cameron Mills Road, Alexandria, VA
You can find me now and again subbing in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway at the Majestic Theater.
April 28, 2019, at 3pm? Please come check out the new layout at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown when I’ll be participating in a performance of Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms” and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this concert!!
I’ll be back in Reading the next weekend, May 4, 2019, for the concert I’m more excited about than any other: a concert version of Puccini’s “Tosca.” This is the opera that made me fall in love with opera, and I feel unbelievably fortunate to get to play it well after I’ve left my opera orchestra career behind me. Please come!
By then I'll be getting ready to start rehearsals for "Beauty and the Beast" at the Papermill Playhouse. Performances run May 29-June30, 2019.
Cellospeak will be underway with the two workshops (Skill Builder July 21-26, Ensemble July 28-August 2, 2019) at the beautiful campus of Bryn Mawr.
And I’m so happy to have been asked to play again at Mostly Mozart at Lincoln Center this summer! I get to join them for Brahms Symphony No. 3 July 30, 2019 at 7:30 at David Geffen Hall in New York City.
